Kappa Epsilon Collegiate Chapter Awards

This award is presented to the collegiate chapter with a strong year in all areas. An all-inclusive approach is taken to identify the chapter that stands out. Beyond exemplifying the Kappa Epsilon bond among members, the recipient chapter demonstrates strong recruitment and new member education, meaningful national projects programming, and various community service, scholastic, and leadership development programs that go beyond yearly requirements. 

This award is presented to the chapter with an outstanding new member recruitment program. While the number of members recruited is reviewed, it is not the sole focus. Rather, the recipient chapter exemplifies the bond and spirit of Kappa Epsilon throughout recruitment and new member education programming, staying true to the mission of the Fraternity. Special focus is paid to unique programming ideas and bonding cultivated throughout the new member education period.

This award recognizes a chapter with impactful programming in the areas of breast and/or ovarian cancer. Special focus is paid to community outreach and unique programming ideas. 

This award highlights the chapter that cultivates the relationship between collegiate and alumni members continually throughout the biennium. While many chapters have developed great relationships with their alumni, the Alumni Outreach award is given to the chapters that find distinct, sustainable ways to keep their alumni and collegiates connected. Special consideration given to newly developed programs and unique programming ideas.

This award highlights a chapter that has gone above and beyond to give back to the community they live in. Community service does not have to be in relation to the National Projects, rather is often completely separate. Special focus is paid to unique programming ideas and continued service throughout the biennium.

This award was developed during the 2017-2019 biennium. It is presented to the chapters that meet their fraternal obligations of on-time submission of all collegiate reports and member dues.

This award is presented to a chapter that has demonstrated significant strength in all areas of both years of the biennium. This includes exemplifying the Kappa Epsilon bond among members, strong new member recruitment and education programming, meaningful breast and/or ovarian cancer awareness programs, as well as a variety of community service, scholastic, and leadership programs. 

As alumni chapters do not currently have mandatory reports, this award is selected based on the events hosted by alumni chapters across the nation. Involvement with collegiate chapters and members is strongly encouraged and given special focus.  

This award was created to recognize advisors who go above and beyond in their commitment to the Fraternity and their individual collegiate chapter. The recipient is an active collegiate chapter advisor that has made significant contributions to a Kappa Epsilon collegiate chapter. Contributions can be time, energy, or whatever else the collegiate chapter needed to thrive throughout the biennium. Nominations (often from collegiate members) are due by May 1.

All nominations received during the biennium are reviewed prior to the National Convention and an award recipient and honorable mention are selected by Grand Council.
