Ways to Get Involved

Make a Lasting Impact Through Volunteering

Volunteering with Kappa Epsilon is more than just giving your time—it’s a way to shape the future of our organization and the profession we all share. Whether you’re a recent graduate or a long-time member, your leadership and support can make a meaningful difference in the lives of fellow KE members.

From mentoring students to serving on national committees, volunteers bring The Bond to life—fostering connection, growth, and community. Your involvement helps build a stronger, more vibrant Kappa Epsilon for generations to come.

Advise a Collegiate Chapter

Each Kappa Epsilon Collegiate Chapter is supported by a faculty advisor—appointed by the Dean—who plays a vital role in the chapter’s success and continuity. More than just a mentor, the advisor is a steady guide through the highs and lows of chapter life.

Advisors offer support, encouragement, and direction while fostering leadership, accountability, and connection to the national organization. Their involvement ensures chapters stay aligned with KE values and university policies while growing in meaningful ways.

Being an advisor is not only impactful—it’s incredibly rewarding. Many advisors find that the experience enriches their own professional journey just as much as it benefits the students they mentor.

Advisor Responsibilities Include:

  • Guiding and supporting chapter leadership
  • Attending meetings and overseeing activities
  • Upholding KE values and university policies
  • Serving as a positive role model and mentor
  • Supporting chapter planning and decision-making
  • Acting as a liaison between the chapter, university, and national organization
  • Encouraging alumni involvement and connection
  • Ensuring chapter responsibilities and reports are completed on time

Kappa Epsilon deeply values the dedication of our advisors. Your guidance shapes the next generation of pharmacy leaders.

KE Week of Service

Kappa Epsilon’s annual Week of Service, held from February 16-22, 2025, brought together members nationwide to make a meaningful impact in their communities. This cherished tradition encouraged both individual and group acts of service, spanning a variety of causes, including breast and ovarian cancer awareness, community outreach, and charitable contributions.

Throughout the week, 16 student chapters shared their initiatives on social media, showcasing the incredible commitment of KE members. Activities ranged from creating welcome signs for families at Ronald McDonald House to making friendship bracelets for children at Bright Beginnings.

Kwincy Byrd

Kwincy Byrd, a P3 member of Beta Gamma, has been thriving in her advanced rotations, applying her classroom knowledge to real-world experiences. She just completed her ambulatory care rotation at Curtis V. Cooper Primary Healthcare, where she gained valuable hands-on experience and enhanced her patient care skills. In addition, Kwincy recently presented a poster on “Optimizing Statin Education: The Impact of Counseling Formats on Patients’ Understanding and Retention” at ASHP Midyear, showcasing her dedication to advancing pharmacy practice. Her commitment to growth and development as a pharmacist is impressive, and we’re excited to see where this journey takes her next! Keep up the great work, Kwincy!

Alumni Chapters offer members a chance to continue their KE journey beyond graduation—through friendship, leadership, and service in their local communities. Whether you’re looking to join an existing chapter or start one of your own, we’re here to help.

Step 4: Submit Your Packet
Send your signed petition, charter fees, and current national dues to the KE Executive Office.
