The purpose of the Alumni Liaison Program is to bridge the gap between collegiate and alumni membership, and to keep alumni involved with their local chapters and the Executive Office in an effort to foster long term professional and social relationships which will promote and sustain the founding principles of our organization.

Each collegiate chapter should elect an Alumni Liaison to its executive committee. This officer, with the help of the Executive Office and the national VP Alumni Development, will provide a valuable link between collegiate and alumni members.

Duties of the Alumni Liaison are to:

• Provide addresses (permanent contact, current home and email) to the Executive Office to maintain a current database
• Assist in the development of an alumni chapter in those areas that do not currently have an alumni chapter chartered by the national fraternity
• Serve as the liaison between the collegiate chapter and a local alumni chapter
• Contact area alumni at least once a semester with a list of collegiate chapter upcoming events (such as professional, social, fundraising, recruitment, Founder’s Day, graduation) and invite their participation
• Solicit alumni assistance in new member education by providing local chapter and national fraternity history
• Provide KE newsletter articles to the School/College of Pharmacy for publications sent to alumni
• Send the Graduation Report to Executive Office
• Promote national fraternity events to collegiate and alumni members including exhibit booths at the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting and the APhA Annual Meeting, national convention in odd-numbered years, and regional meetings as planned by the regions.

• Promote KE national email address, kefrat@aol.com, and encourage members to keep their record at the Executive Office current as they move and/or marry
